I'm not sure if i should say 2010 is a terrible year or an amazing year.
But one thing for sure, is in 2010, i've loJst alot of precious things.
Starting from clothes to friends, you name it, i've lost it ):
Somehow, Marrissa seems to be always the one cheering me up. Maybe cause she's plain smart.
I was talking to her on msn, and she told me she has this army friend, and he's an introvert, he doesn't have any friends.
So they were overseas training for the last few months before ORD-ing. As he was returning from Vietnam, he called his parents who were at San Fran at that point of time.
He said "Hey guys, i'm safe and retuning home soon." They were all super happy, but he added behind "But i have a favor to ask for."
He continued,
"I have a friend i like to bring home, but there's something you should know. He lost an arm and leg as he stepped on land mine. And now he has nowhere to go, so i want him to come live with us."
His parents were in fact happy he found a true friend, and he proved himeself to be a good friend.
Marrissa then said friends come in quality, not quantity, you might lose all your friends, but you'll gain a true friend amongst all these.
I then ask her if she'll adopt me if i lost an arm and leg ;)
